  • Motive power: Four axle locomotives primary for routes from LA to Portland - Six axle locomotives permissible as helpers and in both Portland and L.A. junction locations.

*About T-Trak on this layout: One of the requirements for this layout is related to space, and for that, a tabletop design (rather than an extended shelf or other style) became a requirement. By making the front junction yard in LA and the rear junction yard in Portland align with T-Track requirements and specifications, it is possible to create a series of interchangeable modules that could be plugged in to either city, leading to nearly endless modeling opportunities.
